Exceptional. It's a big word and in Norwegian it's: Eksepsjonell. This is the IDEAL home to transform your 'Uff Da' into the the most relaxing and BEST vacation ever!
Inspired as a Scandinavian summer house, this large home has incredible views, comfortable and inviting furnishings and offers a large, flat grassy yard with 100' of sandy beach waterfront. Curated art on the walls and table top books to savor. An incredible kitchen, with all new appliances, is fully appointed and includes double ovens, a Kitchen-aid mixer, cook and bar ware and a second refrigerator / freezer (just inside the double car garage which is *heated*, has ski/board storage, and a ping pong table!
A large living room with huge windows embraces the yard and lake views. Indoor dining area with kitchen bar seating or enjoy the two separate al fresco dining areas on the deck or at the water's edge. A main floor master suite with King bed and large bathroom includes a shower and soaking tub. Few homes have a sun / exercise room for Yoga (mats and yoga accessories included) and never miss a Peloton® workout with this new bike, complete with SPD pedals and cages!
Downstairs has been designed for sleeping and entertainment. The family / movie room has a huge TV with Sonos speaker and the lounge area turns into three twin beds with sleeping bags, as well as two Queen-size aero-beds with dedicated linens for additional sleeping. The bedrooms include a large King bedroom, en suite and another bedroom with 2 Queen beds.
Outside there is SO much to do here! Bring a boat and keep it on the boat lift. Jet ski lift included. The yard is ginormous and lends itself to your favorite yard game. At the water's edge, you'll love this sandy beach or venture out on one of the 2 stand up paddle boards (SUPs) or kayak. Another unique feature of this home is the original circular, concrete entertaining pad right next to the beach. Relax under the massive market umbrella. Lounge, entertain and keep an eye on the kids -- it really is just perfect.
The neighborhood boat launch is just a few lots away and makes this an ideal location to launch your boat. Additional thoughtful touches and amenities include: High Speed WiFi (that extends To the dock), Ping Pong table, Hot Tub, Yard games, luxury linens, beach towels and more.
Location wise, you'll bask in the summer sun and you're just 7 miles to downtown Sandpoint, a *very* short drive to the Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course: The Idaho Club and a short gorgeous drive to Hope. Schweitzer Mountain is 30 minutes away for winter fun and all will enjoy the hot tub later.

**NOTE: Each year, on September 18th OR the 3rd Sunday in September (whichever is later), the Army Corps of Engineers begins dropping the water level of Lake Pend Oreille until ultimately reducing it by a total of 10-12 feet. Around the 4th week in September ALL boat docks and boat lifts on the lake become inaccessible and unusable, as the water completely recedes back from the shoreline leaving just bare ground beneath the docks. The agreement with the Army Corps of Engineers states the lake level must be restored to full pool level each year no later than July 4th, however, the last 10+ years the lake water has been at full pool level around the 2nd or 3rd week in June.

Summary: Wonderful house, super well appointed and beautifully decorated. Probably one of the top 5 VRBOs we have stayed in. The ONLY thing I would suggest that could improve the property is to install a Level 2 charger for EV

Summary: We absolutely LOVED staying here - I nearly decided to up and move to the area right away. It was a great location - accessible to amenities, easy access to the beach/lake, meticulously organized and well thought-out house (labels for EVERYTHING) and beautiful setting. We really couldn't have had a better time. Thank you for this rejuvenating experience - with 7 kids, we all needed it!

Summary: This was a great stay for our family with young kiddos. Though the weather didn't allow for being outside much, the house had cupboards of puzzles, toys, games, movies and the like for our kids to enjoy. The beds and linens were very luxurious and the kitchen had all that we needed--even a crockpot (when ai realized we forgot ours). One of the little tips I can add for future guests is that the stovetop is an induction one--so if you bring any of your own cookware or espresso maker like we did, it won't heat up on the stovetop. Lovely home in every way with so many thoughtful touches.

Summary: This property far exceeded our expectations! We love to stay around Lake Pend Orielle and this is one of the nicest, well-stocked, and best maintained properties we've been to. Though the lake level is low in April, we loved the long lawn (perfect for kids), sandy beach, views, quiet area, ping pong table and wonderful kitchen. With such wonderful linens, spacious rooms, and so many amenities, it made for a truly relaxing weekend away.

Summary: The home is beautiful! Views of the lake & wildlife are priceless! Especially when viewing them from a relaxing jacuzzi. Management company was the best I’ve ever worked with. Rent vacation homes regularly for going on 20 years & they were great! Actually sent a “ maintenance crew” to the lake home when I just left a message inquiring on a key to the boathouse for supplies & ( portable fireplace ). And when items couldn’t be located they had it delivered & installed very next day. Overall great vacation home!
